A lot of you reading this are already cringing but hear me out! I get it. The idea of being naked is scary enough: let alone in front of a stranger photographing you! Then you start thinking about how you’re 20+ pounds heavier with stretch marks, varicose veins, swollen ankles etc.
But before you let the fear take over, I want you to think about something: The things a woman’s body can do are INSANE. They can create life and grow an entire human being (and sometimes multiple human beings) inside of it. Somehow all of the anatomy moves and makes way, the skin stretches and expands, everything works together to accommodate this miraculous act that is happening. And that’s badass, mama. Pregnancy isn’t a time of weakness, it is a time of strength and BEAUTY. Embrace the changes, because those changes are happening to help you bring a life into this world. Is there anything more powerful than that? You are literally forming the future, perpetuating the species, moving us forward and it is all happening inside you! This time should not only be celebrated, but a proclamation of “Hey! I’m making a person! What have you done lately?”
You may not believe me now, but trust me, you’ll feel like you can conquer the world after your shoot. PS: I offer several levels of professional retouching all included with your package, from minimal to complete beauty retouching. What this means is, if you love your stretch marks, I leave them in! If you want them removed, I remove them! It’s really all about personal preference and how “photoshopped” you want to look! I can accommodate your taste!
