After Erika’s Maternity session, I knew her newborn daughter’s portraits were going to be AMAZING. And, unsurprisingly, they were. She slept SO good for me! She was a tiny little thing, I think 4lbs and some change but she slept like a 10lb baby! Haha. I love that Erika brought a few things with her for the session – the red tutu especially is meaningful, as we did some gorgeous maternity  images of Erika in a red tutu. I also love that Erika wanted COLOR! So we did yellow, red, purple, blue and green! And of course some neutrals because I’m usually all about those neutrals! “After a very successful maternity photo shoot, I was so excited for Amanda to take Anaïs’ newborn photos. She was extremely skilled and she was completely comfortable handling my baby. I’ve heard of babies having their hips or shoulders dislocated from being too tightly wrapped by untrained newborn photographers and it was very clear that Amanda was very experienced. She had no problems answering my questions and she encouraged me to observe her as she positioned my baby in the variety of cute positions. I even learned a couple of little tricks during the session that I now use to help lull my little girl to sleep. Thank you so much for these once in a lifetime memories, Amanda! You’re the best!”
