The celebration of your growing family starts with a “hello.” Just reach out on my contact form with some details about you, your timeline, and your pregnancy or brand new little one.

You’ll receive more information from me right away, and then we’ll set up a time for a discovery call. 

STEP ONE

Say Hello

The brief, 10-minute discovery phone call is when we’ll get to know each other and determine if my style is the right fit for your unique vision.

I’ll clear up any worries you may have (no, you don’t have to buy a luxurious gown, and yes, we can blast Beyoncé!) and ask questions about what inspires you. 

STEP two

Connect with me

If you decide I’m the right photographer for you, we’ll finalize your date and get you on the calendar. Then, I send a contract and invoice to lock in your session.

Because I am so driven by details, I send a questionnaire to get a better sense of your home decor and how I can craft portraits that speak to the colors, forms, and styles you already have in your home. Remember, these images are going to be hanging on your walls someday soon!

STEP three

Make it Official

As we prepare for your session, I’ll mail a few goodies your way. I believe maternity is a time to celebrate the beauty of creating new life, and you, new mom, deserve the world! I’ll also send emails full of tips for your session so you can come fully prepared.

HINT: The most important thing for you to do is drink lots of water, and I’ll handle the rest!

STEP four

Treat Yourself

Think of your session day as equal parts high-fashion photoshoot glam sesh and relaxing with your friends in your bare feet. While one of my associates expertly styles your hair and makeup, we’ll play music and hang out in the studio.

I have a wardrobe full of couture dresses and billowing fabric to work with and all the lighting tricks for achieving stunning shots. And speaking of shots, since you can’t take one before our session, I’ll give you an extra shot of encouragement as you step in front of the camera!

Then, I’ll guide you through the best poses and positions, so you’re never unsure what to do with your hands or when to look at the camera, and together we’ll create something beautiful. 

STEP five

Enjoy Portrait Day!

 I do a full retouch of the images you’ve chosen and send you a finalized digital gallery for you to share, save, and enjoy.

Just 4-6 weeks after the session, your products will arrive, ready to decorate your home! And we’ll stay in touch so that we can capture the smiles and snuggles of your growing children, too. 

STEP seven

Polish + Perfect

One week after the session, you’ll return to the studio to see the photos and pick the ones you want to turn into your forever heirlooms.

I display all of my product options, from massive, hang-over-the-fireplace frames to keepsake boxes filled with matted prints, in the studio. Pick the heirlooms you like best, and I’ll get to work on creating them for you!
