Poor Layla came to me the day after having her tongue tie corrected and the doctor made such light of it, I couldn’t believe! I guess it’s easy to say something isn’t painful when you’re not the one having it done! Poor thing was so uncomfortable the entire session but we did the best we could and I really think the images turned out so beautiful! You would never know she cried in between each pose š I felt sooooo bad.

A couple fun facts about how they came to name her Layla: Elise had picked the name out as a 12 year old girlĀ – heard it, loved it, knew she would one day name her daughter Layla. Ernie also loved the name Layla early on, after hearing it from Laila Ali. So once they knew they were having a girl, it only made sense to give her the name they had been dreaming of! Isn’t that sweet???
