Oh Graham! This chunka chunka burnin’ love came to see me at 13 days new! He had a rough start into the world and ended up with a fractured collarbone 🙁 Poor baby! His mama emailed me to let me know of his arrival, but that she wasn’t certain if they should proceed with his newborn photos! I did a little research and had them ask their doctor some more questions and then we decided to go ahead! I would have been so sad if we weren’t able to do the session and preserve these details of Mr. Graham! It’s amazing how fast these fresh babies change! We weren’t able to do any poses where his injured arm would go above his head. But I’ll tell you, that did not stop us from getting a full gallery of this 8lb 14oz cutie pie! He was nice and sleepy for me and so we did lots of on his back baby-led poses. We even were able to get a bucket shot!

Graham’s sweet grandma attended the session as well, which is always a lot of fun! I love hearing the happy giggles behind me as I pose the baby into all these adorable shots! We were especially cracking up when I put Graham into the potato sack pose because he is ALL CHEEKS! Oh my goodness… and grandma said “He looks like a spud!” and it kind of just stuck. I think I’ll always remember him as baby Spud <3
