Before coronavirus came and completely uprooted all of our lives, we had family photos scheduled but those had to be postponed. I didn’t want to let the chance to have family photos of this time in our lives, so with a tripod and self-timer in hand, we trekked off to the park for some self-portraits. It was not easy. Getting Olive to look at the camera when no one was behind it was impossible. And then she had a complete meltdown on the car ride home and I felt like the worst mom for putting her through it. I know she’ll appreciate these someday, and I cherish them every single day. I love my little family and I want to always remember this time in our lives.
Olive can:
Crawl
Sit
Clap
Eat all the foods
Say Dada
Say Mama (3x so far.. not consistent but I’m counting it anyway)
Sleep through the night in your own room
Pet the animals nicely (most of the time)
Belly laugh
